Mindful Eating

Mindful Eating can be a state of silence or emptiness of the mind that is not excessed by thoughts. Notice when food comes in front of you. You keep looking at the food for 10 minutes with that calmness. You will automatically have the desire to eat what your body needs. That food becomes medicinal, if this thing is understood, then food is medicine and nothing else.

Nowadays we have seen a normal practice. People sit down to eat, the TV is turned on, the mobile is turned on, our concentration is on something else. Thoughts on that.

While eating, we can smile, we can be happy, apart from that, if we are putting the brain somewhere else, then it is messing up. One of the greatest pleasures of food is people sitting with us should be fed with love. Concentrating apart from this while eating food will definitely reduce the nutrition of food to zero. This is really what we need today in the form of religion. That should be our religion. We should either eat in solitude or in the midst of people who are like-minded.

It is also considered while take food that with which hands food is served, the feelings of a person serving good. It is the feeling of love that is really very important.
