What daily life habits would you like to recommend, which nurtures both inner peace and productivity, because we do thousands of activities every day. We have to curtail the activities that are impacting our productivity and inner peace. How can we further refine it for ourselves?
The most important thing in this subject is the habits that are in the daily routine of our life. It seems to me that the first habit which is very important, normally you see people saying that the beginning of the day should be very good, i.e. your morning time should be good. I'll talk about it in reverse. Our bedtime should be right. Let's not all try to get up. We should just try to set the time of sleep according to our needs, our jobs and our behaviors. It could be 10 pm or 11 pm, but it shouldn't be late than that. We should switch off all the electronic devices or keep them apart about an hour before bedtime. Before we go to sleep, we should sleep like we are waking up in the morning, i.e, like we brush our teeth, we rinse our face, hands and legs. After making all the arrangements, we should sit for at least 15 or 20 mins in a normal zone and then sleep. In fact, when we wake up in the morning, we come in the middle of society but when we sleep at night, we sleep with God, which means that when we sleep without any thoughts, the sleep that we get with less dreams, which we get only through the yoga of God. The reason for proper functioning of this body is proper sleep. Sleep is that component of anyone’s life that if it becomes weak then it will affect the whole functioning of body and in return it’ll cause many physical and mental diseases.
Balanced diet, it also plays a major role. When we talk about sound sleep, the food we take should go below a level before going to bed. If we take dinner at 8pm then our bedtime could be at 10pm, If we eat at 9pm, our bedtime can be 11pm, the thing is it should be about 2 hours after eating. Later than that is never good.
It’s my request to all to do a week-long implementation on this subject and do it in a form where we can actually test this thing, and if this test proves successful for anyone, then the train of his/her life will turn.
In this modernized era, everyone needs peace of mind. People easily create an economic balance and for that they have to sacrifice their mental peace, so what are the other habits that we can adopt, which will balance our inner peace?
When we sleep at night, the work that is done by meditation is done in that sleep in a natural way. In which we don't have dreams and ideas. And when we wake up in the morning after this sleep, we are fully prepared to do that meditation in which we are awake and thoughtless and can sit for 10-15 minutes intact. So, it is a very simple process, it has been made so tough by our habits that we are not able to sit in meditation. It is also not advisable to sit in meditation on an empty stomach. A balanced diet is a must. Though, everything cannot be applied to every person, but this applies to everyone that light food should be taken two and a half hours before bedtime and then should sleep.
Only by doing these small things, we can experience a big change in our life.
