Healthy Minds

The holistic meaning of good health is not just physical fitness, but emotional and spiritual well-being should also be a part of it.

The first aspect of a person's beauty is their face. Therefore, good health means a forehead without wrinkles, eyes that are fully open, and a breath that comes naturally. A beautiful face reflects how we are living our lives. Even if we are sitting alone, we should not appear troubled to anyone, because as soon as we immerse ourselves in the ocean of thoughts, it becomes difficult to emerge from the swamp. So, that is the first sign of good health.

Another aspect of good health is the ability to fall into a state of sleep at night where one does not feel discomfort upon waking, having a graceful posture of the body where the body is upright. The gestures of a person demonstrate a certain behavior. This is what we refer to as body language. Through body language, we can observe a great deal, for example if a person possesses a calm mind when opening a door, also pays attention to ensure that it does not make noise when closing; otherwise, the door can be closed with a loud sound.

When a doorman at a five-star hotel salutes or greets you, how do you respond or do you even look at him? Only a man who is lost in his thoughts cannot even acknowledge that greeting. This is a significant state of the mind, which we must work on ourselves. It cannot be obtained as a gift. No saint can bless you with it. They can show you the way, but the blessing cannot be given. One must make the effort themselves. As one traverses through the swirling chakras within, the state of the mind becomes stable at the point known as the Aagya chakra, and thereafter, a natural feeling of joy arises in life. That joy is uncaused. It is not the kind of joy that comes from watching a show. It is called radiance, the glow of the face called Mudita. Mudita is the joyful expression that reflects the love of the Supreme Being on the face. When we have the intention to understand and perceive it, and when we have desire and attraction towards it, we begin to comprehend these things as well.

Nowadays, when we talk about mental health, many people assume we're referring to something related to insanity or madness, but that's not the case at all. Every individual has their own mental abilities; some have less, some have more. While speaking, someone might miss a word, and someone else might say it perfectly. Even this is a part of mental health. Perfection belongs only to God. It’s better to say mental sharpness or mental depth instead of mental health. Sounds right! Every individual expresses their thoughts in different ways. No one is saying something entirely unique, it’s just the way of saying it that differs, which reflects acceptance in various forms.

We talk about mental health, but can mental health be maintained by continuously concentrating on one thing for four or six hours on a screen? Has anyone ever thought about this? Nowadays, knee pain problems have increased, and knee replacement surgeries have become more common. The main reason behind this is that we have significantly reduced using our knees. Any part of the body can deteriorate if it is not used as much as necessary. On the other hand, excessive use can also be harmful. There are some athletes who have encountered same issues due to excessive usage of body. Excessive of anything is bad. God gave us flat soles, but we started wearing heels. We don't even try to understand how harmful their effects are on our body today. Same when we talk about food, a lighter mood person will never feel the urge of eating spicy food instead they’ll want to have nature sourced food. Whenever we eat something spicy, normal food doesn't taste as appealing afterward. The body always gives indications i.e. alarming signs are present all the time. However, many of us don't pay attention to these signals because we've become so busy. There's a clear distinction between being busy and being chaotic. Right now, the choice is ours: are we merely occupied or overwhelmed by chaos?

We must understand that those who are organized in their mental state attract people who bring organization and calm into their lives - a phenomenon guided by the divine. Do you believe it?

I am like a free bird soaring through the blue sky, with a carefree spirit that embraces freedom without worry. This mindset feels like a gift from the divine. If we truly desire peace and rest in life, we must prioritize good eating habits and overall health. After all, good thoughts stem from good food. Eventually, this goodness becomes so abundant that it becomes the essence of life itself.

These are behaviors bestowed by the divine, and when nurtured with love, kindness, and selfless giving, they lead us to arrangements beyond our imagination, arrangements that cannot be achieved with wealth alone. With money, you can gather ten people for service, but you cannot create even one person who serves from the heart. If there is even one person with a heartfelt desire to serve you, they can surpass the worth of thousands or even millions. On the other hand, gathering thousands of people through money for your service holds no true meaning in life. This feeling is what we call divine love. You once asked, "What is that feeling? How do we recognize it?" This is that feeling, it manifests in the presence of those who bring joy, who naturally come closer to you, while those who bring suffering are unable to stay, as the divine gently removes them. How beautifully this illustrates the love of the Supreme Being. If we internalize this understanding, who wouldn’t want to transform the arrangements of life? Who would choose to remain in mental stress? Remember this: no matter how much wealth you accumulate or how much luxury you achieve through it, life feels complete only in the company of those few people who truly belong to us, those whose hearts beat for us.

We should listen to the voice of the Supreme Being within our heart and engage in acts of public welfare. True public welfare means leaving every individual you meet happier, every listener more content. Even if they are not fully satisfied, let their thoughts be lightened by their interaction with you. I feel that’s the true definition of HEALTHY MINDS.
